Global energy: less than 4% renewables

Solar + Wind + Hydropower accounted for only 4% of global energy production in 2017.
Adding Nuclear
only increase the global energy share to 5,4%.

In 2014 solar+wind+hydropower+nuclear global energy share was 4,9 %. That means that the increase in renewables + nuclear is limited to 0,15% per year.

BUSINESS as USUAL scenario is not going to solve Climate Change
Assuming a sustained growth in nuclear, solar, wind and hydropower of 0,15 % per year, it will take more than 500 years to get to 100% renewables.
